A month of summer is a long time to leave to chance.
You already know the screen-time spiral. Here's what most parents are quietly wrestling with — and what the mat actually fixes.
"They'll melt into the couch."
Tablet, snacks, repeat. Two structured mornings a week give the week a shape — without eating the whole summer.
"My kid is a little too soft."
The worry you don't say at the playground. Wrestling is one of the only things that teaches a timid kid they're tougher than they thought.
"So much energy, nowhere to put it."
They run circles around the house by 9am. An hour on the mat channels the chaos — and you get a calmer kid by lunch.
"They listen to a coach, not me."
Following instructions, respect, body control, waiting your turn — discipline that follows them home and into the classroom.
"Everything's too soft OR too intense."
Daycare 'everybody wins' or travel-team pressure on a 5-year-old. We sit in the gap: real skills, zero pressure to compete.
"They can't handle losing."
Get knocked down, get back up, try again — learned at the age where it's safe to learn it. Resilience you can't teach from the sidelines.
This isn't about creating hardcore competitors. It's about who your kid becomes.
Tuesday & Thursday mornings, all summer.
June 30 through July 31. Pick the time that fits your morning — both classes cover the same beginner curriculum for ages 4–7.
Spots are limited per class to keep groups small.
The questions every parent asks first
Real answers to what's actually on your mind.
Is my little kid going to get hurt?
Safety is the whole point at this age. Classes are beginner-only, fully supervised, and run on mats with techniques scaled for 4–7 year olds. It's controlled and coached — not a rough free-for-all.
Is wrestling too aggressive for this age?
It's not about fighting. For this group, "wrestling" means confidence, coordination, balance, and body control — taught through games and structure. The toughness comes from doing hard things, not from contact.
My kid has never done a sport. Are they too far behind?
Not at all — this academy is built for total beginners. All skill levels welcome, zero experience needed. Many kids start here as their very first activity.
What if my child is shy or timid?
That's exactly who benefits most. The quiet kid who learns he's tougher than he thought is the transformation we see again and again. Coaches meet kids where they are.
Is it worth $130 + $35?
That works out to roughly $16 per session for real coaching — cheaper per hour than most summer camps, with confidence and discipline that don't end when summer does.
